Maths strand

Today in Maths strand with Miss G  we made maps. we had the options of Minecraft roblox fortnight our own or pirate I choose Minecraft. First we had to get a grid and plan it, next we coloured it in and wrote questions to do with direction. Last a buddy answered the questions I was with Harmony.

I found it hard to think of questions but I found it easy to draw, colour and have fun.

Coordinates

This week in geometry we learnt about coordinates coordinates are things that are made of letters and numbers to signify where you are going, they are also a type of direction like north east south west etc. We had an activity to do with coordinates we had to draw things where they were meant to go and find the coordinates for other things.

I found it easy to draw and find the coordinates but I found it tricky to colour because my hand got really sore.

Treasure map

This week in Mr Breach's Literacy we made treasure maps. first we dipped regular paper into tea and ripped the edges. Next we sketched our plan onto the paper some of us had secret places. After that we coloured it in to make it look cool. Last we tied it up with a ribbon and wrote a date on it
