Maths map

Today in maths we did a puzzle to do with directions and peoples houses. There were 5 questions we had to answer.

I found it easy to have fun but I found it hard to do nothing.

Rewriting paper scissors rock

this week in literacy we rewrote the story paper scissors rock from one of the 3 characters perspective Rock, Paper or Scissors I chose Scissors. I chose scissors because I thought his plot and story would be good.

First we watched the video and chose our character, then we wrote the story and edited it last we published it.

I found it easy to have fun but I found it hard to write the story.

Forest mayhem

It was a warm spring morning I was sneaking in the big green bushes watching rock he was
sitting on the edge of the big cliff then “CRACK” the cliff broke. When he hit the ground he saw
paper it looked like love at first site to me. I see rock stare into papers eyes and I whisper to
myself  ̈ No She is mine rock, time for revenge”

I jump out of the green bush the look on their faces was scareder than a mouse being
chased by a fox. As rock grabs papers hand and his hand crumbles into tiny pebbles I smirk
and Announce

” It's the end for both if you paper beats rock remember, that's just how it works” 

They start running with me close behind I chop everything in my
path trees and when they are cornered I walk up slowly and cut paper, she faints rock grabs a
leaf and places it under her to pick paper up rock yells ”You’ve done it now” he ran up to me
and tries to jump on me but I dodge him I Find a piece of paper and I throw it on him, It hits
him and he dies I run up to paper I grab her and throw her in the water” thats the end of that.
I run back into the bushes with a smirk on my face thinking “ That was fun I wonder who my
next victim might be . . .

Name puzzle

Today in maths we had a name puzzle first we had to figure out what our name was in a number code. First we got in buddy then we figured the puzzle out.

I found it easy to figure out my name and I did not find any thing hard.

Maths strand

Today in Maths strand with Miss G  we made maps. we had the options of Minecraft roblox fortnight our own or pirate I choose Minecraft. First we had to get a grid and plan it, next we coloured it in and wrote questions to do with direction. Last a buddy answered the questions I was with Harmony.

I found it hard to think of questions but I found it easy to draw, colour and have fun.

Guess who

for the past few days in literacy we have been writing a who am I about yourself. we had to use as many similes and metaphors as possibles, for example her eyes were an ocean,big and beautiful. first we wrote the Guess who then we printed it and last we drew a picture and stuck a piece of paper over it.

I found it easy to have fun and use similes but I found it hard to draw the picture.

What makes me me

This week in literacy we have been looking identity. Identity is the fact of being known as a person.We made a drawing about what makes us us. Then we put things around that can form someones identity.

Party puzzle

Today in maths we tried to do a problem with someone trows a party and we have to figure out how many lollies each person would get. we had to work with a buddy to figure this out. first we worked on a white board and then put in in your book

I found it easy to have fun but I found it hard to work out the problem

Rhyming

This week in literacy we wrote a story using repetitive rhyming. First we planed then we wrote it it was hard to write it but it was fun  last we made a drawing and published it.
I found it easy to have fun and be creative but I found it hard to write the story .

There once was a cat who loved the sound “rat a tat tat”.

But the sound made here a brat. The cat loved the sound rat a tat tat but it made her a brat.

The people didn’t like that she was a brat so they put him in a habitat. The cat loved the sound rat a tat tat but it made her a brat ,so now she is in a habitat.

The cat doesn’t like being in a habitat so she became an acrobat.The cat loved the sound rat a tat tat but it made her a brat, so now she is in a habitat and is an acrobat.

The cat can’t do acrobatics so she went “splat”.The cat loved the sound rat a tat tat but it made her a brat, so she is now in a habitat and is an acrobat, but she went “splat”.

The cat stopped doing acrobats because she found a soft mat. The cat loved the sound rat a tat tat but it made her a brat, so she is now in a habitat and is an acrobat, but she went “splat” so she stopped and now in a soft mat.

She got up because she saw a little Gray rat.The cat loved the sound rat a tat tat but it made her a brat, so now she is in a habitat and is an acrobat ,but she went “splat” so she stopped and is now in a soft mat spying on a grey rat.

The rat is being a copycat.The cat loved the sound rat a tat tat but it made her a brat, so now she is in a habitat and is an acrobat ,but she went “splat” so she stopped and is now in a soft mat ,spying on a grey rat and is mad because it is a copycat.

People come from far and wide to see her little face, and now she realises that shes not a just big disgrace, She changes back to normal and is not so paranormal and now she can be very informal for people that are round, to be themselves not someone else and believe that you can be you no matter what.

The Portal

This week we wrote story's in buddy's I was with Dylan . There was a  catch to this though, we could not talk other than through comments This was really hard. First we planed, next we wrote the story, Then we edited and finally we shared it with someone else and they gave us feed back.

I found it easy to use my imagination and write the story but I found it hard not talking.


Intro One bright and sunny day Aliyah and Dylan were playing in the forest, But then a mysterious portal appeared out of nowhere. With a look of caution on their faces they slowly walked up to it to examine it. It was like a galaxy, so beautiful but it felt unnatural but in a spur of a moment it started sucking things in, taking Aliyah and Dylan with it. . .

 They appeared in a forest that looked really old and the trees were rotten, They walked along the path that was covered in leaves and then Aliyah said “ wow this is creepy “.Then Aliyah pointed at a bridge, it had a creature that look like a frog mixed with a (cat frog) out the front looking very angry. He pulled a pointy stick out of his bag and pointed it at Dylan, “WHAT DO YOU WANT” the creature shouted, Dylan said “We appeared in this world and we have to get out” he nodded and said “You have to complete this riddle to get past the bridge” he gave Dylan a piece of paper and it said “It comes once in a minute twice in a moment but never in one thousand years”. Dylan and Aliyah looked at each other with a puzzled look and Aliyah said “I’ve Got it!” and she walked up to the creature and whispered “the letter M” and the creature nodded and said “well done you may pass”. He opened the gate and said “Bye Bye” Dylan and Aliyah waved and walked through.

 Suddenly they felt a shiver down their spines and their eyes lit up rainbow and they hovered in the air then they landed back on the ground but something felt different... They looked at each other and screamed “AHHH”.They looked so different Dylan was was wearing a blue superhero outfit and could shoot Ice out his hands Aliyah was wearing a purple dress and could shoot lightning they both were wearing masks one blue one purple.

They kept walking until they found an old railroad with a dragon guarding it. Behind the Dragon they saw a crystal shard it was glowing rainbow, it was the unicorn shard. They tried to attack the dragon but it didn’t work they couldn’t figure out why . Until they realised they had to work together Aliyah said” i’ll shoot a lightning bolt” and Dylan said “I’ll shoot ice”. Aliyah shot lightning and Dylan shot ice It hit the dragon and “BANG” the dragon fell dead Aliyah said “with the power of teamwork we can do anything“ then Dylan said “ your so cheesy” and so they jumped on top of the dragon and did the floss to celebrate. After they finished flossing they ran over to the unicorn shard, grabbed it, held it up and they yelled “TAKE US BACK” and they teleport back to their world .“That was fun!” said Aliyah they ran inside to their parents and told them all about it but they didn’t believe them, Aliyah and Dylan never played in that forest again…

Friends maths problem

Today in maths we did a Friends problem. The problem was if you wanted to be in where would you place you self using the rhyme " Ip dip sky blue who's in its you". I found a pattern for every number lower than 8 the number was either lower or equal ,but when it was 8 or higher it was always 8.

I found this easy once I had the just of it but when I had no idea what I was doing it was hard.
