The treaty of Waitangi

Today In Hur 3 we watched a video about The Treaty of Waitangi and we had to fill out a sheet to do with it. We had 17 questions and here are ten that I found the most interesting.

In 1830 the Maori population was in between 70,000 and 80,000 . The main reasons the Maori population went down was because of war and diseased. The name of the main settlement in NZ at this time was Kororareka/ Russell. The chiefs and missionary were unhappy with NZ because of  young prostitution. The treaty was neglected buy being buried, burnt, water damage and eaten by rats. The united tribes of NZ were put up in 1833 to resolve the situation. The British saw France as a threat because of wars and colonisation. Edward Wakfeild set up the NZ company to become rich. The British sent Hobson to NZ to translate the treaty of Waitangi. over 500 Chiefs signed the treaty.

You have recalled some interesting facts about Te Tiriti o Waitangi. You are good at writing your facts in sentences and I have enjoyed the images that you have used in this blog post.
You have a few simple spelling mistakes; diseased, buy, Wakfeild. Take time to read your blogpost before you publish it and you'll pick these up.
    Keep up the good work.
