My Learning Story

Hurumanu:                                                 Speaking my truth ( Hur 2 )

Name: Aliyah

Teacher: Ck, miss Allen,Ds

  1. Term:4 2020

Reflection:

Give at least three examples in each of the boxes below.

What We Did:

  •  In drama class we did some games that included, Role on the wall, picture dictation and script detective.

  • In Reading we did a novel study on one book (Crossing, warhorse, freak the mighty, slide the corner or the twits), a novel study is when you read the book and answer some questions that make you think about it some more.

  • In reading we also studied about Coastal wolves and a nz native animal of our choice

What I Learned:

  • I learnt alot about coastal wolves ( including that they were even a thing) and I found it very interesting to learn about it .

  • I also learnt how to do Role on the wall.

  • I learnt a lot about my native NZ animal ( Hoiho ) that I never knew.

My Favourite Part:

  •  One of my favourite parts was when I did the native animals because I got to make a site.

  •  Another favourite part was making freeze frames in drama because I got use my imagination.

  • Another part I thoroughly enjoyed was doing the novel study because I got to read a good book.

My Next Steps:

  • One of my next steps would be to dig deeper into reading books and looking at different things in them.

  •  Looking at being able to express emotions through actions.

  • Being able to talk in front of people.
