2020 Hurumanu Learning Story

Today in Hur 4 - poetic arts we created a learning story. A learning story is basically a reflection on your learning from the past term, in this case what we learnt from Hur 4. Here is my learning story.

  • My Learning Story

  • Hurumanu: Poetic arts

  • Name: Aliyah

  • Teachers: Ds

  • Term 4

  • 2020

  •

  • Reflection:

  • Give at least three examples in each of the boxes below.

  • What We Did:

  • We did some art to do with the story Sina and the eel that was based around transformation.

  • We also did some perspective drawing which is basically drawing a road, river, etc to a point where the objects and road get smaller.

  • We also did some writing around the topic heroes and villains.

  • What I Learned:

  •  I learnt that in perspective drawing you always have to have a horizon and a point where the lines will lead.

  • I learnt how to add detail into a story using dialog.

  • I learnt how to write in a graffiti style.

  • My Favourite Part:

  • Writing about heroes and villains because it was a narrative and I could use my imagination.

  • Doing perspective drawing because I got to be artistic.

  • Sina and the eel because writing in a graffiti style is fun.

  • My Next Steps:

  •  Drawing a better background in perspective art.

  • Getting better at writing in a graffiti style.

  • Adding more types of sentences into my narrative writing.

  • CARR Values:

  • Make a statement below describing how you showed each of our CARR values during this Hurumanu.
