Woodtech (Speakers)

This term in wood tech we have been working on creating a speaker. This took up an entire term and involved a lot of wiring and effort. Here are some of the steps we took to create our project.

1.Mark the holes on your pieces of wood

2.Drill the holes one at time making sure that they are all lined up

3.Glue and nail your pieces of wood together and leave them to dry

4.Solder your wires together making a complete circuit

5. Glue your speakers into your box

6. Solder a switch, to your circuit and complete it by adding a battery pack

7. Glue all your pieces into place

8.Check that it works

9. Your done!

this process took up 19 periods out of our term and we worked hard on it. Once we had finished building it we were able to design the box. I chose to paint it black with an accent side (the top) that was a gradient sky using pink blue and white.
