Standing up for our rights.

Today in Hur 2 Nga tangata  we have been looking at discrimination and protests, today we were told to identify these words and find the meanings of them, here are mine.



 Discrimination:

the act of treating someone or a group or people because of prejudice. 

Stereotype:

A standardised and normally over simplified and inaccurate concept believed by many people.

Protest:

A gesture or action by a person or a group as a public display of objection.

Prejudice:

an opinion formed without knowing all the facts (towards a specific group or person).

social messaging:

Passing of a message from/idea person to person in a community.
