Kenning poem

In writing with Mrs Mcguinnity we learnt about kenning poems . They are an old Nordic style poem they have 8 lines and always end with er .first we brain stormed a spider poem next we wrote the spider poem.Then Mrs Mcguinnity told us to write some other poems. I found it challenging to find words with er on the end but I found it easy to write how the move , act and what they eat .

A web maker
A creepy crawler
A weird jumper
A scary killer
A sneaky crawler
A fast thinker
A corner hider
A insect eater

Cat
A cute cuddler
A vicious hunter
A silly sleeper
A fast runner
A water hater
A crazy climber
A fluffy dreamer
A mouse catcher

Dog
A playful pouncer
A tail chaser
A fast sprinter
A water lover
A funny sleeper
A silly jumper
A trick learner
A treat chewer

Snake
A sneaky slitherer
A vicious hunter
A mouse eater
A fast mover
A stealth catcher
A crazy killer
A egg cracker
A rattle shaker
