Simple to Complex Sentences

Today we did a practice for our assessment (test) and working to improve and make our writing more interesting. We practised making our sentences better by changing them from simple to complex sentences. We would add a word or two every time we change a sentence so it would become more interesting. Here are the sentences that I changed.

Simple to Complex Sentences

The dog ate.

The dog ate miserably.

This morning the dog ate miserably.

This morning the dog ate out of the trash miserably.

THis morning the dog ate out of the trash shivering miserably.

Switching classes

Even though it is only the 5th week of school I have changed classes. My form class is still the same but my other classes are different. I now do not do Japanese but I do plastic work ( hard materials) now. It has not been easy but I have been having fun with the different subjects. I am not with my friends anymore but I am finding it much easier to work in the different environment.I am also new to the teachers and I have to work extra hard to catch up with everyone.So over all I am enjoying being in different class environment.

Fried eggs on toast ( procedure writing )

Today in hur3 ( science and writing ) we did a practice procedure writing for when we write about our experiment. We wrote about what we might have had for breakfast. I had a lot of fun doing this even though I switched from another class.

Fried eggs on toast

Materiels

1.frying pan ( electric or on the stove)

2.Spatula

3. Eggs

4.bread

5.(optional) butter

6. (optional) salt and pepper

7.knife( butter )

8.toaster

9. plate

Ingredients 

1. 2 eggs ( or 3 if you are extra hungry)

2. 2 or 3 pieces of bread depending on how many eggs

3. a small amount of butter

4 .a dash of salt and pepper

Steps

1.Turn on the frying pan

2.Place about a teaspoon of butter into the frying pan

3.Crack the eggs into the frying pan leave for about 3 mins

4.Place the toast into your toaster for about 1.5 mins

5.When the toast pops butter the toast and place on plate or place on plate without butter

6.Using your spatula pick up the eggs and place them on your plate

 7.sprinkle with salt and pepper 

8.Turn of pan

9.Enjoy!

Conclusion

This is a good meal for breakfast because it is high in protein but be careful when
the toast comes out of the toaster it will be hot also the eggs will be hot when they
come out the frying pan.

I found it tricky and difficult to wait for it to load but easy to have fun and enjoy it.

today we made word art using complements. we put our face into a word art and got 3 complements the site was word art

cyber spys, Identifying fake websites and emails

Today in cybersmart we were looking at how to identify if websites and emails. we came up with a few diffrent ways we looked at thus webise about a rare tree octopus. in the start we all thought it was real but once we did some back up reasearch we could tell it was fake.

ways to figure out i9f it was real of fake

make sure there is HTTPS

if the lock is not there it is fake

if it is to good to be true dont belive it.

Division in parts

This week in maths we are learning how to do division in parts. we had a series of questions we had to awnser word problems and non word problems.
I enjoyed doing this because It got my brain working and it was a better and easier stratergy to use.
