Martian code mission
For the past couple weeks in Hur 3 science we have been trying to find a system to communicate across a long distance. After doing some research me and my buddy ( Mikayla ) found a system that we thought would work, Morse code using light. For this we first wrote down the whole alphabet in Morse code then we did it with a flashlight. Mikayla sent the message and I received it (well I tried to). It didn't actually work. We think the reason why was it was it was to light and we didn't have practice. we could have done it while it was darker or we had more practice.

Kia ora Aliyah, this is a really interesting sounding task. It sounds like your both worked hard to try out your method of communication. What are some options that you could use at school if you wanted to try again? I thought that your reflection was really honest and your next steps realistic.

DeleteThank you for commenting on my blog post. I hadn't thought about other things that we could do to communicate across the field. The first thing that comes to mind is using flags otherwise known as semaphore. Semaphore is like sign language but using flags. Semaphore was originally used on ships to communicate to each other.
Blog you later
