Role on the wall is a way of figuring out what the character is really feeling. the way you do this is you draw a person shape and on the outside of the shape you write things you can figure out from just reading the story like for example. The main character might be the class clown but behind might have a horrible life.
I am a student at in Uru MÄnuka. In 2020 I was a year 7 and in 2021 I will be a year 8. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Hur 2 (Drama)
This week in drama we have been doing a bunch of different things but in this blog I am going to be explaining 3 of them (Iceberg, role on the wall and recount). Iceberg is something were you draw a triangle or Iceberg shape and put a line through it horizontally (Across). above the line you write things that you can tell from the story like this example.

Hi Aliyah, I'm very glad that you have shared this learning. Thank you. The diagram of the Iceberg is very clear and suggests that there is quite a bit going on under the surface for most people. Do you think Drama is a good way to get at some of these deeper issues under the surface? The drawing for Role on the Wall also suggests an inside and outside. Drama looks very interesting and I hope you share more of your learning with us!
