I have written a poem specifically a haiku poem. A haiku is a Japanese poem traditionally about nature but nowadays it can be about anything. Haiku's also have syllables and 3 lines line one has 5 then line 2 has 7 line 3 has 5
Through sapphire waves
glide leap bound with abandon
the sea acrobats

ReplyDeleteI loved the way you decided to write your poem hinting at your favourite animal, but never came out and told us. Good writers "show, not tell". I want you to have another look though and see if 'sappier' is the correct word you wanted in the first line?
