The bullet

Today in Hur 2 we read the bullet and made a DLO of some sort I decided I would remake the cover using canva. Canva is  good online site where you can design anything. Here is the cover that I made.

Today in Hur 2 we read a book the book we read was The Bullet And we had to answer a series of questions to do with that book here are the questions from the book I read.

Rodney does not care what it was used for because he found it and it makes him fell like he has more power over the bully's because he has a bullet.

The dude is with the police now because he was trying to sell smokes to someone underage and he has probably sold them before.

He doesn't look cool any more because he is with the police and he isn't wearing his glasses.

I agree with her because I think she is telling the truth.

I think he learnt that a bully is a bully no matter what but you can stand up for yourself and others.

The authors purpose was to show that life can be tough but if you stand up for yourself you can do anything

My Favourite animal

I have written a poem specifically a haiku poem. A haiku is a Japanese poem traditionally about nature but nowadays it can be about anything. Haiku's also have syllables and 3 lines line one has 5 then line 2 has 7 line 3 has 5



Through sapphire waves
glide leap bound with abandon
the sea acrobats

The Creation Of Tuna

Today in Hur 4 we read The creation of tuna and got asked 5 questions and I am going to answer them.

1. What problem did tuna face
The land he was in was to dry and he got caught and cut up.

Tipua means supernatural
hinaki means eel basket

3. What type of animal is tuna?
Tuna is a eel

4. compare the book and video . What are some differences?
The book has very colourful pictures but the video is more like a sketch
The book is more kid friendly but the video is more accurate

The book
because it is more cartoon and colourful

the present

Today we reacted and reflected on a video called the present in the present the boy gets a dog but it has 3 legs it played around until they made a connection the boy got up with us realising he only had 1 leg and they went to play outside. I really liked it but it was a sad story up until the end

Restaurant Brand Design

For the past week in homeroom we have been doing Restaurant Brand Design. We had to choose the food I choose pizza, next we had to choose a name I chose "Rainbow pizza emporium" cause I wanted to have really colourful food, then we picked a colour palet and a couple fonts, after we made a mood-board and designed our logo, last we mapped out our restaurant.

 

Writing plan

Today in Hur 4 we worked on some things from the working from home site. I did my writing plan, I drew a few different scenes and from those scenes and plans can you guess what my story is about. I enjoyed planing because I got to draw and have fun with creativity.

Level 2 in school

Today in home room we made a poster of a few rules that come with being in school in level 2. In level 2 we need to try to do things to keep us safe I explain some in my poster but there are many more. I enjoyed doing this because I found it easy and relaxing And I would use canva again.
